Hi, I'm Anita!
UX Strategy, Research, and Architecture
I'm a skilled UX leader with experience working at digital agencies, product companies, and start-ups.
I am an analytical UXA and researcher with a breadth of experience across a number of industries. Shortly after completing my Master of Applied Science in Industrial (Systems) Engineering at the University of Toronto, I started my career consulting at a digital agency. Since then, I have honed my UX architecture, research, leadership and iPad doodling capabilities through stints at Kobo, Havas Digital, and a FinTech start-up.

Career Highlights
Relevance Collective
I am the Director of Customer Experience at Relevance Collective. In this role, I lead CX on major client projects - advocating for the user from strategy through activation. With a focus on digital experience strategy, we create experiences in moments that matter most to customers, while also laddering up to the most important business goals.
With a varied list of clients, I’ve had the opportunity to impact the lives of users across many industries and domains.
FinTech Startup
I was the second employee hired and worked to develop the UX practice at a FinTech Startup. I acted as the voice of the user at a strategic and tactical level and was involved in business development, user experience strategy and roadmapping, delivery, and user research.
As a member of the Sr. Leadership team, I helped grow our UX practice. Resourcefulness and drive culminated in a proof of concept used to demonstrate our value to potential investors and users.
Havas Canada
I was a Senior User Experience Architect at Havas and worked on a broad range of products from initial requirements gathering through detailed wireframe design.
I mentored and oversaw junior UX architects on client engagements - working closely with the team and client to create experiences that delighted users.
Kobo Canada
I was the first dedicated user researcher hired as part of the User Experience and Design department. I performed generative user research to build a stronger understanding of users and their behaviours within the organization. I eventually transitioned back to User Experience Architecture and was the primary UXA working on the redesign of the Kobo online help experience.
